A dystopian futurist take on the original English fable, Jack's Mother lays destitute (like the rest of us), addicted to Feed from Leviathan Gyant Corp. Androgenous Jack is sent to trade Red Rebel Devil at the Crossroads -- trading for the cow (an starving Aurach GMO reconstruction) a handful of beans from Leviathan Corp-- plus and a  nightful of ecstatic visions of the underground resistance around a ring of fire. Jack’s Mother (addicted to tripe from Leviathan Media) is terrified of the Watchsome Police and flings the beans. Owning or trafficking seeds is of course strictly forbidden. But the Devil has given Jack heirloom seeds. The stalks shoot up to the heavens. Jack climbs and finds the Fae Wife of the Giant. She takes him in. Poseur Woke Princess, she claims to side with the Groundsmen Folk (Jacks’ class) and hides Jack. He steals the Goose of Golden Shite — the means of production — and absconds with it. But it proves troublesome! In a comedic scene, Jack pursues the easily-escaped goose. “Hold on Tight!” it says when he catches it. It proves a quarrelsome bedfellow, and Jack longs to be rid of it. Finally he is, and it flies off into the sky. Jack returns to capture the Harp -- which gives True Voice to its holders. Also troublesome. We hear the desperate refrain of the Giant Leviathan, only wanting to do his best! Jack runs again for ze life and at the bottom... fells the beanstalk ("with a little help from his friends!"). Seeds and life rain down upon the land as Leviathan falls... the Giant becoming the reborn Earth... but what future does this moment hold? Hold on ... but not too tightly.

PROPOSED: Audience engages in collective futurist ceremony and addiction cleansing. Ecstatics invited; note most of the performance will be traditional audience-actors but with elements of participatory interfaces such as "calling out" on request and call and response in selected bookended numbers. Dancing (band and dj set) to conclude the performamony ... er... particiformance... er... ecstatic greek style orgiastic commentary... er... with time for celebration and socializing into the wee hours.
